I've decided to sell or loan my section A who is 5 but unbroken. She's been lead with my pony out on hacks and I've sat on her and tacked her up. But her education has stopped here due to time. Turned out all winter. I have no idea how much to price her at?! Welsh pony and cob passport. Any one able to help?!

The best thing to do is to look at adverts for ponies of a similar stamp and see that they go for. You have to be a bit careful asking "how much" thread here because admin can take the view you are advertising. Generally prices are quite depressed at the moment so don't get your hopes up too high!

Oops sorry admin! Genuine query, not trying to sell I promise!
I've looked at other adverts but so hard as nothing is ever that similar to what I've got!

Very little is the honest answer sadly. The market for small ponies is for small children, and to do that job people want them older and established. I'd be looking for a token sum to a good home

FrankieCob is right. You haven't given a height but Sec A's don't go over 12hh so the market you are aiming for is either breed enthusiasts - in which case she needs impeccable breeding - or children. There are not that many homes which can back something that small.

If you can back her and get her a reasonable competition record she could reach the dizzy heights of about £1K. The highest price I can see for an unbacked SecA is £200 - and it hasn't sold. Quite a few free to a good home sadly....
