I've finally made the decision that i'm going to sell my boy and I'm just rather stuck as to what to ask for him. I've got someone who is interested who I know so I don't want to come across as really greedy but I do need the cash to buy myself a new horse so I'm a bit stuck with what to ask for him
Could I have some ideas off people with what they would think he would fetch? Details below of him.
15"3h, 9 years old, TB gelding, bay. Hacks out in groups always has brakes, hacks out alone never a problem. 100% with traffic, shoeing, travels alone in a trailer/lorry, stands at shows. Sweet natured, never bucks, bolts or rears. Has hunted 1 1/2 seasons. Natural cross country horse, leads or follows. Will do a good dressage test, nicely schooled. Will showjump but is green in this respect but very willing. His only real fault is his greeness with showjumping. He's got the scope but i've not got a school or my own transport so never been able to put 100% of work into it. He'll happily hunt/cross country round 3'3 or hedges etc though.
My reason for selling is i'd like to move on with hunting the bigger days and I just don't feel like him and I as a pair are quite forward going enough anymore.
Would really appreciate any views/opinions on this as I'm a bit stuck. To me he's a safe, sweet, nice looking horse who is very willing and will make a lovely allrounder for someone.
