Pricing weanlings. Colt or gelding?

When selling/buying youngstock do you expect to ask/pay less for a colt (not stallion potential) than a gelding?

I tend to keep mares but having looked at ads for weanlings there doesn't seem to be much difference in asking price for colts and geldings. I personally would factor in the price of castration when considering buying a colt though. Hope this helps.
