prince bone scan results

well the vet rang me about an hour ago, the results arnt great, he has an uptake of dye to his T15 i believe (off the top of my head) (basically kissing spines) and uptake to his small joints in both his hocks and and uptake to both his navicular bones infront he was meant to come home saturday but looks like hes staying in for further tests and trot ups!

iv decided this is an appropriate time to stuff my face with chocolate and cake! he settled quickly when he got there and was happy tucking into his hay when i left so atleast im not worrying about him stressing.

Urm not such good news - where has he gone too? has anyone given you any info on a potential course of action yet? or is it inconclusive until more tests are done?

Just think hes in the best place at the moment for any other tests etc to be done and im sure as soon as the dye is out of his system etc they will let you visit him.

hes gone to endells in salisbury. the vet is going to speak to my vet to discuss what they want to do then my vet will ring me and run it by me and ask what i want, the vet at endells wants to do more tests on monday when he is no longer radioactive which i am happy with as i dont have the facilities at home for my vet to do decent trot ups etc. just waiting to hear from my vet now with what they want to do! its a good 2 1/2 hour drive away so id rather he stayed out there then him coming home and having to go back out.
