Oh he's lovely, I have a fawn pug too.
mad as a breakfast she is, we were warned that having a pug is like having a young child, so very true, however ours is an exception, she a bit more hyper than most.

He looks rather alarmed, doesn't he?
In these pictures he is 32lbs, currently weighs 25lbs, but I think he needs to be under 20lbs. No more Danish pastries for the little man
My weekend purchases included a two-foot long fuzzy cow--Prince is a tug of war maniac--a car harness and a collar. Stella has an extra bed, bowls, and toys galore, so it'll be hand-me-downs for the new addition.

Prince is a total couch potato, a real Mr. Mellow, though that may be because his life hasn't been very exciting. All of that will soon change
I've seen him play with other dogs, and unlike Stella--who nips any outlandish behaviour right in the bud--he tends to put up with everything that is dished out.
He can be a stubborn git out on walks, though in fairness he's had zero training.

If it makes you feel any better re: weight OHs sister owns a pug and it truly disgusts me how fat they have let her get saying 'it's how the breed should be' I just smile and nod and try not to scream
Poor thing can even wash herself or sit properly she is that huuuuuge!

Aaw he is gorgeous, love his expression in the second picture. Bet when he gets into a decent exercise routine he will soon lose the extra weight and will become a streamline Prince.

Yep, between Stella, her dog park friends, and Cousin Crow, he'll be an athlete in no time.
Hen, all to be rectified with Stella snaps at the weekend, as we have a nice big hike with Cousin Crow planned.

Slapped wrists for me, especially in light of the fact that Stella spent Thanksgiving week on a Florida beach. I forgot my camera, and my Blackberry proved useless for taking Stella action shots.

Does yours wear a jacket in winter? With the windchill, it's
-10c in NYC today, and Stella--as a breed without an undercoat--can't cope without her snuggly down jacket, but pugs seem to have quite thick fur.
