Hi,
Just wondered what you would all do
At my yard, the paddocks are not private, they are mixed sex and there can be quite alot of horses in one paddock.
My horse was moved into a new paddock recently and was bullied by one of the largest horses at the yard, rugs were ripped, he had grazes on his head ect. This quieted down quite a bit as the "pecking order" got sorted but I still wasn't 100 percent happy as he could never get access to the hay due to other horses and he is underweight already.
Then another liveries horse was moved into his paddock, the horse is a known bully, very large and likes to throw his weight around, so therefore the bullying started up again. This horse also stands infront of the gate, therefore preventing anyone from bringing/taking horses.
I did ask, nicely, for my YO to sort it out but this was a week ago and so far
nothing has been done, he has suggested that he would build a paddock specifically for mine and my brothers horse, however this will cost me 1500 pounds.
So, what would you do?
Cookies for anyone who read the whole thing!!!
