Woke up this morning to a beautiful day with blue skys. Can It get any better?, well yes, 'cos I have the day off and I'm going to ride my horse.

After 13 years of owning him, I still get excited butterflies when I am on my way to the stables to see him. The feeling that you get with a new boyfriend, (but these haven't worn off)!

I am indeed a lucky girl and I Love my horse :D

Me too! :D Even though they drive you nuts at times, on a day like this I think it is the perfect feeling to go out for a ride on my horse!

YES THIS TOO! Today is such a gorgeous day, it really does make you happy to be alive, and share the world with our equine friends. I look at mine and feel so happy to have them x Lets all enjoy every minute we can with our amazing equines! Lovely post murphysgirl!

Completely agree with this post! Just about to go see my little girly now, in seven years she has been my best friend and more like my childhood career! She had to look after me as a young kid all summer haha and shes never put a foot out of line. I wish we could tell our horses what they actually mean to us and they would understand it.

I don't ride anymore...haven't for a long time due to injury (not horse related for once) but I still love being around mine & going & seeing to them on a lovely morning like today. :)

In the evening when they are in their stable & bedded down & it's lovely & quiet & just love the satisfying munching sound they make as they eat their hay. If there's a nicer more contented sound I'd like to know it ;)

I Love my horse , and get a fluttery tummy every time i see her , nothing better than hacking around just me and my girl or watching her happily graze or snooze in the field.

In the summer i just adore lying in the field watching her , and very often she comes over to where i am and lays down beside me .

i feel so utterly lucky to have her x

Totally! Was only thinking that this morning... got up at 5am, down to the yard. Sun was shining, really pretty light mist over the ground. Had him tacked up and ready to go by 6.30, we did a quick 30 mins schooling but he was super. No better start to the day! :)

Have only had my boy just over three months but he's already given me so much confidence back - after my last horse I had serious confidence issues and found it very hard to trust even horses that I've known/ridden for years... but I really do trust Monts now, feel like I've owned him forever :)

Love him to bits, even if he is a giant ginger knobber :D
