I dont see what you said as being racist but I guess in the context "mad Scottish woman" it is a little out of place. I mean, I wouldnt come on here saying "mad English person" because the English part isnt really relevent if that makes sense. Its like a point is being made about her being Scottish. But she cant do you for being racist unless you said other things on the phone which we dont know about!
I can assure you we aren't all like this woman seems to be
And I can also point out that most Scots are perfectly understandable! The few who are proper, even I dont understand them and Ive lived here all my life

I was thinking this morning why has she not put her side. I only politely asked questions about the horse which she says you can do on the website. I said i was worried if i won it and i did not get on with it what would i do? People are not permitted to see the horse beforehand, What was wrong in that?
I have a Scottish friend with a realy broad accent, i often have to ask him to slow down a bit, the same as a couple of Irish friends. Normal speaking i can understand but different areas havre different sayings and when said in a rant it is hard to tell what is being said.
I live near a Travellers site - they do call themselves Pikies - and they now all talk so i can understand as when they talk fast its like a foreign language to me.
She spoke very well last night and i understood her very well, all the insults included!

. I did not realy mean it in that context as i now see it sounds. I meant it in the context of being unable to understand her ranting because of her accent.

which probably set the seed for what i put on here. In hindesight i wish i could take that bit back.

I did tell her that last night and that is why i could not understand her with her accent.

I am not brave, i am a huge softie. I was once called a terrier, once i take hold i don't let go. Horses cannot speak and it is just a line i have taken. I just worry now what is going to happen to the horse. At least it is now in the public eye and someone may offer to buy it who knows what they are doing.

I am not brave, i am a huge softie. I was once called a terrier, once i take hold i don't let go. Horses cannot speak and it is just a line i have taken. I just worry now what is going to happen to the horse. At least it is now in the public eye and someone may offer to buy it who knows what they are doing.

i do also wonder about her actually seeing the posts herself. surely if she had i would now have some abusive PM's as i was the 1 who reported her to the ILPH and the gambling commission.

i'm just glad S_F is none the worse for her encounter with this erm woman and that the horse is now no longer part of a raffle

Yeah, it's a typical attack as a form of defence attitude, usually displayed by those with neither intelligence nor moral fibre. She wouldn't have got so irate if she knew what she was doing was ok. What person with any integrity would offer a stallion as described by her as a raffle prize?!?! Defies belief, really.

I spoke to someone re The ILPH telling then , and the ILPH people were quite right to inform them as It was a matter that The raffle organiser had already been in contact with them about , As they had been mis informed re the legalities of Animal prizes, and that it had been brought to their attention the Legal aspect of Animals as prizes.
Before any of the forum users frantic posts , and the raffle was already in the process of being withdrawn, Before SF or Kao or anyone had been in touch .
The ILPH person i know said they have better things to do , such as actual cruelty cases , the amersham ponies , horses going for meat etc! like these poor beasts.

Sirenaxv1, Jemima_too and Jmo7. My thoughts exactly. As soon as i started reading it i knew it was them, not Katie but her mother. The raffle was still very much on when i rang.
Would you like help with this horse? The horses welfare is what is of concern. You have obviousley had trouble selling it. I am happy to help find it a good home. Also please stop buying horses that you are not able to handle, this is not the first is it! You obviously took on something more than you could handle, the offer of help is here for the horses sake.
