If you use one can you tell me if good or not so. Can you use one on its own under a GP saddle or do you have to have a saddle cloth as well? At the moment my horse has western saddle but am having him fitted for an English one soon. I know nothing of English saddles or pads. Please advise.

I use one, it is great for my high withered weight changing beastie. I can put thicker or thinner pads in according to need. I always use mine with a saddlecloth.

I would be very careful about using them if you have little experience with an english saddle unless you have someone experienced to help you.

fabulous things, i have a couple of the 'comfort numnahs', love them. Dont get the ones with the extra pads to put in/take out unless you know all about saddle fitting. Just get a plain non-altering pad, such as the comfort one.
