anyone got any tips on the best probiotic to use. I have used Equi Gastro Gold but not much joy.

the horse is a quality French Intermediate Eventer who windsucks especially when feeding. He's very light in condition vet thinks that he doesnt metabolise his feed into buiding muscle well either...or something like that!!

He eats Falcon Oats and Barley free, Omega Rice and molassed chaff

any ideas greatley appreciated

Ive found Protexin Gut Balancer to be about the best as it contains Pre & Probiotics.
Ive also used there Acid Ease on a horse with suspected ulcers & it was brilliant a bit expensive though when using it with a big horse.

I 2nd protexin but that might be me being biased coz they sponsor me!

It has worked really well for my boys and seems to have chilled them out alot too, and Soap seems to recover alot better after an event now.

I have been recommended NAF Pink Powder for my poor TB windsucker, haven't started it yet.. but is on order
