Jake has long had elbow issues, arthritic in both and as he is ageing and his skin is becoming thinner they've also begun to lose hair and become dry and a bit calloused. We've been using lotions and potions, and he has seen a vet obvs, but because he chooses to lie on a stone floor rather than his beds some of the time they were not improving. I have just bought him some memory foam and sheepskin elbow protectors. They're machine washable, padded and and a genius idea to not only cushion his arthritic joints but to also protect the skin from further damage.
