problem horse

Hi , a friend of mine has a problem, they bought a horse last year for their daughter to jump b s j a seniors , has been turned out every day , all day when not being ridden , all of a sudden he is jumping all the fencing, every one . They have a number of paddocks on property and he is just jumping from one to the other . What can they do to stop this?

Has he got a friend? I've got one like this but he's ok as long as he's always with his two mates

Does he have company? And how much work is he getting? A long time ago I took a pony on loan as it was bored and would keep jumping out of its field. Once he started work he stopped. Also how good is the grass? I have known horses jump out when there isn't much in the field to keep them occupied as well.

freinds horse keeps jumping out of fields , they have excellent fencing with post and rails and electric on top, what can they do ? he does not leave the property and jumps in with the other horses and then jumps out again , worried he gets out and runs into road . can anyone help:

yes he , has company and is worked every day

I'd fence inside the perimeter fence with electric fencing a good metre or so in. Also make sure sufficient hay/grass is available.

I knew another horse who used to jump out, they tied plastic bags to the fence he used to go for miles though!

He is not the horse I sold? Dark Bay 16.3hh gelding idxtb sort? ;-) I increased my fencing height in his paddock too over my head and put bags on the fence ….and he just jumped higher! Eventually he did calm down but once in a while you would find him in a different field.
