Customer came in today for six more fence rails. Horse been breaking them I asked. No he said"some bastards thought it would be fun to drive through my fence and around the field".He informed me that he had a plan to stop them doing it again. He was going to put a traffic cone in front of where they smashed through.I said that I thought there was an obvious flaw in his plan. Wont they just drive over the cone?In fact they will probably aim at the cone!!He gave me an evil grin and said he was rather counting on it because the cone is covering the last 18 inches of the six foot steel girder he is burying.

[/ QUOTE ]Surely not! He left a traffic cone on it to warn them!Incidentaly before anyone feels too sorry, there were horses in the field.

hahahaha what a fab plan!

I cant believe some idiot had the cheek to drive through his fence and round the field though - absolutely shocking.

Thank god that no livestock escaped - could have caused a terrible accident,

I hope they try it again - they will learn their lesson the hard way!

Have done a similar thing, sort of, serves them right in my opinion! If it's his land, there is a warning... then it's their own stupid fault.

Tis a brilliant plan

I have a friend who has a road running through their farmyard. They got sick of people flying through at top speed so put a bit of bale wrap in the middle of the road. People drove round it the first couple of days, then started to drive straight over it at the previous high speeds. On the fourth day the bale wrap was concealing several breezeblocks.....
