....as above really.

I've a 3 year old Rice Richardson with acrylic floor and rubber mats. The mats are split by the central partition post across from left to right, presumably for ease of removal.

Going slowly round a corner today, the pony somehow slipped with his back legs and moved the back mat so that it was wrinkled up in one corner. This has never happened before. It could have been because he had weed in the trailer so the floor was extra slippery under the mat - hoever he has weed in there before and the mats had not slipped. The trailer gets hosed out every time it is used, including under the mats which are then all dried before putting back.

Are there any clever people out there who could suggest a solution? My husband suggests glueing the mats in place or screwing them in place. Neither of these would seem ideal. Any other suggestions would be gratefully received!

Many thanks,
Amanda

I had an Ifor with a similar problem. I asked my IW dealer and he said they were all recalled a few years back and a sort of U shaped bolt was fitted in each corner. We took it in and he did it for free.
It may be worth ringing Richardson and asking them what to do as being a total worrier :o, Id be scared of drilling an acrylic floor, just incase.

My ifor came with a screw in each corner of the matting, easy to remove if needed for cleaning/airing, had no problems! xx
