If anyone has any answers or possible reasons or a diagnosis for this problem that’s would be greatly appreciated :)

So almost 3 weeks ago I rode my horse around on a normal day at home and she kept turning around on the left side of her body to her shoulder/stomach and she was not very happy to walk and every time I asked her to walk she would bend around again and look at her stomach/shoulder. Every time I rode her since then, she would do the same and would very reluctantly trot. I only rode her for about 5-10 minutes before she would start these symptoms (after a week). 2 weeks after she first started doing this we got her massaged and I rode her 2 days later and she was alright for most of it but then she stated to do it after 10-15 minutes (part of the reason she was not doing it may have been because she was distracted by a different environment-we were out). I rode her again 2 days after that at home and she was really good and she only did it once at the end. The next day I thought she would be good to take to a jumping/cross country clinic so I took her. I did the jump course 3 times (they were only 50cm probably) and she was okay. She was very forward and excited to jump and was going along well. But only the last time I did the course she started to slow down after the 5th jump and put her ears back so I pushed her on and thought she was being ‘marey’ but she ended up stopping and turning around to her left side shoulder/stomach and having ears back so I stopped the course and didn’t ride her anymore that day. I haven’t ridden her since because I have been giving her a break, but today I decided to lunge her to see how she is and she seemed okay-ish not extremely happy but not angry either. I put her back in her stable and she was eating so she went back to eating and I came back around 2hours later and I lent over her to give her a hug (she is usually calm and is always okay and very used to this) and then she turned around to bite me (I lent over the right side and had my hand on the left which is her ‘sore’ side). She didn’t bite me so I rubbed the left side to see her reaction and she was leaning over to bite me again (less aggressive though). So I was taken aback a bit. I got my mum to have a look at it because she had just come over and she couldn’t sense anything was really wrong with the left side (I felt 2 lumps, one on her shoulder, the other on her girth path). So I went to put her rug on and I pulled it up to her wither to do it up at the front and she tried to hit me (I was on her left side). I did it again and she tried to bite once more. So I got mum to hold her halter while I carefully tried to take the rug off and she was not happy. Even touching her on her stomach made her angry and she was trying to bite once more. I put her out in the paddock and here I am not knowing what is wrong. I’m not sure if it’s to do with muscle or if it’s her stomach (ulcers). Oh and she also had diarrhoea 4-5 days after she first started these symptoms. If you have any questions or need more information than please ask x -thanks

Left side is not the usual side for ulcers. Right side or both sides is more normal for reactions to being touched, ime.

I think you need a vet, because she is telling you clearly that she is unhappy and you need a diagnosis before you go trying to treat anything. If that will be difficult where you live in Australia, then I might try giving her 50ml of pure aloe vera juice twice a day and seeing if that changes her behaviour. It may not be enough to cure ulcers if she has them, but it often soothes them.
