Problems Booking Olympia Tickets - Beware

Have sat on the phone and Website to book tickets and the website didn't come on for ages and the phone was constantly engaged.

Eventually came on and booked Puisance tickets and went through the whole process but the confirmation has come through as last years date even though its says Thursday 20thth when you book them.

Have now got to sit on phone again to clarify.

I posted in NL just after I had booked mine at 9am. When I clicked through from Olympia site it said page not available so I did a quick search on seetickets site and found them.

OMG (as my teenager would say) I have just wasted over an hour of my dwindling lifespan trying to book tickets - would say "save for five minutes give us your money" then "these allocations not available" then when I went back to book THE SAME DAMN NUMBERS CAME UP AGAIN - my confirmation also says 2011 and when I called the organisers number to find out whether my card have been charged extra times was given the number to book a game at MILLWALL FOOTBALL CLUB - I mean - do I sound like a Millwall supporter? OK I do now but thats only since I tried to book tickets via SEE for Olympia - not going through this again.... where's the wine box - yeah I know it's only 10.30am ....

I booked mine at 9am and had to do it directly through seetickets rather than through the Olympia website as it wasn't working. Same problem with last year's date on confirmation email.

Am sure it is just a glitch in the system but emailed to check - I would be very cheesed off if their system had made a cock up with the allocation and someone else had been able to book my front row tickets!

Its a joke really, I can't get through to speak to anyone and I'm worried that the tickets I think / hope i've got don't exist.

Never used Seetickets before I thought it was usually Ticketmaster and never had a problem with them.

I seem to have been automatically 'opted-in' to refund protection at £2 per ticket. I didn't see any option for this when booking...

I've just got a reply from Seetickets (via twitter, much quicker than going through the phones!) saying that the incorrect date is a typo, that their IT people are working on it now, and if you log in to track your order on the seetickets website, the correct date should now be displayed

Their tracking page is half cut off on my web and you can't read it all but that sounds promising and i've asked for another email confirmation to be sent so hopefully that'll be correct.

Thank you i can start breathing again! I have never had problems before but i think it was Ticketmaster the last few years. I really didnt want to try a re book as i had managed to get good seats for once.

Have just tracked my order and it's all fine, seems I have just paid £2 cancellation protection instead of £2.50 booking.... will contact them through twitter...

We should have guessed really as there isn't a 15th Dec 2011 but you just don't want to lose your chance to go so you have to confirm it properly to put your mind at rest.

No, puissance is on the thursday this year.

That's what I thought but now seetickets have just replied to me on Twitter saying I should've paid £2.50 and there is no transaction fee.... have asked them to check my ref. no. to see if I've actually got tickets but the tracking says I have and have paid £2 fee. I hope they don't try to charge me another 50p per ticket now....think that would be illegal?

I can't check the transaction as I used my mum's credit card.

Everything is forward one day as the whole show is to avoid it finishing on Christmas Eve.

I booked two for World Cup for Saturday online and it was fine but the e mail confirmation had last year's date on. I rang and they assured me my booking was for this year and have now sent an e mail out confirming that although e mails are saying 2011 dates, everyone's tickets are correctly booked for this year.

Technical hitch !!
