Professional Equine Photographers

I would very much like to have a photographic portrait of both of our boys and wondered if anyone can recommend a suitable photographer?

I have looked at Matthew Seed and think his pictures are stunning but am a little scared to ask how much it might cost! Still, it costs nothing to enqire I suppose.

I cannot recommend this photographer enough, my friend bought me a photo shoot for my birthday, in the package you get a dvd (she does video too) a mini photoshoot as well as some physical photos, but she does straight photography too, she did some fab stuff for me a couple of years ago too!

Yes, I've seen his stuff at Bramham etc and it was fantastic. We had a long chat with him, and almost talked ourselves into getting some, despite being skint! He was a lovely bloke.

I would second this!
Simon has been to photograph several of our horses over the years, these are a couple of my favourites to give you an example of the kind of stuff he does (any excuse!)

Simon is brilliant with the horses - my "slightly nervous with strangers" gelding warmed to him immediately, and put on a great show for us!
I had Mason photographed when I got him at 5, and I intend on asking Simon to do him again when he's 10, 15 etc - hopefully we'll have some lovely ridden shots next time!

Me too Pigeon! We do travel but always better to combine a shoot with someone else where possible to keep the costs down.
