Sorry I just need to celebrate a bit.
I’m in my 50s and started back riding in January with glacial progress. I posted here a few weeks ago.
This week I have finally had a good lesson where the RS ploddy cob was listening to me.
No it was not easy, yes I was still working like mad. But it was more leg and less kick.
Finally I felt like I was actually getting somewhere. Loads still to work on, and I mean LOADS but I’ll take it.

Well done! It's so lovely to have these moments of celebration along the way. There's always loads to work on :D

Don’t be sorry - celebrate! Much older (25 years) than you and lifetime of riding/competing but still euphoric after a good hack on wonderful horse (and still learning) 😂 It’s why we do it!
