Progressive/advanced obedience book please?

Our GSP will be 2 in October and our lives seem have gotten busier lately, and we haven't been doing any training with him at all, nothing structured I mean. and I can see a significant drop in his behaviour. He also seems unhappy, he wanders around crying a lot and is being quite brattish.

I have tried getting back in touch with my local training school but to be honest, I haven't got the time to commit to anything regular.

Im not hopeless at training animals (!), but I like to have a structure, targets etc to work towards, which I can't come up with by myself.

Does anyone know of a structured training guide I can use? Preferably for gun dogs / GSPs but not imperative.
I'm a big fan of clicker training, so if it uses that as a training method that would be good too.
 
When you engage with your dog, accepting that it will now be less, and having 'gotten' busier he is no longer the focus of your attention, do you make eye contact with each other? Does he still command your attention and you his?

if your 'hopeless' at training animals, i'll be most surprised if a book's of any help.

Would you be interested in trying agility with my? My gsp loves it. They definitely like having their brains used. You may be able to find one where you don't have to commit to every week, my last club was like that. And you can ONLY use positive/reward based training in the agility world and lots of people use clickers with that, although not essential ��

Not got any recommendations I'm afraid but watching with interest, always nice to get new ideas.

I have tried agility and did enjoy it yes, but then a dog moved into the group whom Wilbur did not get on well with at all, and in the end it was too stressful to be enjoyable :(

I really like clicker training, so that clicker book might be a goer, thank you. Thanks for the book suggestions, I will have a look at those!
