I am ignoring you as a user...so there's little point replying to my posts. I assume they upset you and you are still mid-tantrum so suggest you click on my name and activate 'Ignore this user' for a happier life.

Shilasdair: Can you tell me what your avatar would be if it weren't a white box with a red cross in it please. I have been looking at this for months now and wondered why you don't put an actual picture up - the box isn't very interesting but then perhaps my dog isn't either LOL!!

I can't get any of my pictures to work...hence the white box.
On alternative horse and hound I have a shilasdair as a picture....
Your dog avatar always freaks me out because I see it as a dog with its legs bandaged. Now I know that it's wellies, but my mind always computes it wrongly.
What would you like to see as my avatar? A satanic symbol?

No I always think you should have something mythical...you can't have the unicorn as Annie has it though!

Hunter bandages are all the rage you know.......

What; like this?

Yep it's pretty cool but I prefer pretty things - the iris can stay.

And yes this site is a pain - keeps crashing on me too.

Oh, and RHT is right...I can't see your posts unless someone copies them....nighty night.

Just take the properties from an image and then Ctrl C, then click on "image" and then Ctrl V the image web address...then press OK. Easy.

QR.

Not aimed at anyone in particular, just a general observation.

Natural horsemanship has it's place in the equestrian world. We all use it, knowlingly or not. IMO to insult someone elses way of doing things is pretty pathetic. If they want to do it let them get on with it, but this place is becoming really cr*p with all the bitching about Parelli, natural horsemanship and novice owners.
Hell shoot anyone who doesnt do it the BHS way.

Secondly if I was the lady whose advert you were all slating I would be mortified and very angry. Guys, this is a PUBLIC forum. You simply cannot go around slagging off people on here. Have you all no morals?? How would you feel if we all slagged off YOUR advert? I havent read the advert in question, because to be honest I couldnt give two hoots about it.
It particularly annoys me because so many posters here have sucha 'holier than thou' attitude, yet post no pictures of yourselves riding, or your horses, or anything about them.

So if you're all so bloomin great... lets see the videos and photos...

I cannot be bothered reading all of these posts because to be honest I would just like to comment on the original post. However, I have seen some very nasty behaviour being displayed on this post which I think is unneccessary and simply uncalled for.

In reply to the OP, I believe that a lot of these horses request natural horsemanship to be used because this is what the owners have started to use to iron out the problems they have experienced. If I was to sell Hannah, I would require someone to use my Richard Maxwell head collar to load Hannah because both it and Richard have worked wonders. He took a horse that was petrified of the trailer to one that loads every time, has been able to go to stud and have a foal, and even loaded first time without the slightest bit of fuss when her foal needed an operation.

Grace was advertised on Project Horses, and she was over the £1000 mark as many of you will know. I think I got an absolute bargain with her, and there are some really stunning horses on that site that are just not right for the people who own them. The owners are being honest in the hope they will find the best home for their horses, and I do not think anyone has a right to criticise anyone who has placed an advert on that site, as that person will have been through every emotion when writing it.

As for the little ex-racer... I have seen how quickly TBs learn. I have seen them progress in the dressage arena in a much quicker time than a WB, and I do not doubt that this little mare could indeed have been starting changes at 5 years with a professional in 12 months, especially if she is particularly athletic. I also believe that she can regress to just walk, trot and canter in a matter of months! Grace has only had two weeks of work (she is just 6 but has only been ridden since November) and we took a huge step backwards! And I was used to riding her...

I don't like this forum when there are posts like the ones I have read on this thread.

Sorry, I couldn't be bothered reading your post, but well done anyway.
I am sure that, had I read your post, I would have found it unkind and unhelpful.
You should be ashamed of yourself writing such negativity (perhaps)

You are exactly the kind of person who gives horse folk a bad name...

If you have nothing intelligent to say (and your reply is mostly this), then I suggest you refrain from hitting the reply button in future. I simply don't have time for childish, bitchy and simple comments.

I can see you are very time constrained as you are unable to read things before replying to them. I am flattered that you made a special effort to read my last post. You must be very important. All hail Becki2003. I bow to your moral, intellectual and all other superiorities.

This post is boring me now. I only came on to give my own experiences of the website but clearly some people are too ignorant to listen to views other than their own. It is those people who end up losing out in the long run.
