I am sure this must have been done before but has anyone actually been to see any horse on this site?? And was it as bad as depicted?
I was just browsing and wondered if its the horses or sellers on there that have a problem?

Yes, I've been to see three. All were as described

I think if you read between the lines you'll find that sometimes it's the owners and sometimes it is just the horses.

i have a project horse, and i know its both of us that have the problem, the lady that used to take mine showjumpin/eventing and drag hunting came and rode him last sunday and she admitted hes changed he rears bucks and naps always thinking about what he should do next and not listerning to what your asking him to do...
he used to be a fantastic jumper at 1.20m and apparntly nearly jumped himself out of newcomers...
its got to get into his brain and correct it (if i can)
if not then i will have to sell him on to someone that can ..

Its 138/ 148s I was looking at, yours would be too big for my Daughter!!
I was just browsing as there might be an undiscovered superstar for £500 LOL

Sounds a bit like you are looking for what i did, ibought mine shes 13.2hh bought her for £995 as she had been turned out for a year, she is now 6 so hadnt really had much education or manners for that matter kickede everything got her in July shes been jumping 3'6'' courses with me and got manners now worth 4000-5000 so far after a couple of months work not bad i think she has potential to be a 138 pony just like go onto horsemart thats were i found mine and look at the horses under 1000 that have been turned away and there are some bargains just look carefully. on horsequest there is an sj goin for 1200 after being turned away with 600 winnings

I advertised my Sec C on this site and also on Kelly Marks website (worth a look too). My welshie was a complete stunner but also a complete nutter! I didn't have the time or experience he needed and I found him a fantastic new home and he is now doing really well (still a bit of a nutter!) If you've got the experience and time then these horses are well worth a look as long as you know what you're getting yourself into! xx

I'm going to advertise my sons outgrown pony on there and I think like everyone else the horses are advertised honestly and so at least you'll know what your getting and whether you can deal with it.

I would have no hesitation in buying from there.

I love that website, the owners seem to be pretty honest and it's great that they can be honest about their horse and find the best home possible for them. I advertised my lad for loan on their (as well as Kelly Marks website too) and I found a super home for him (IH minded) who eventually bought him. I wish there were more websites like it.

I've also been to see a horse in Northumberland (BWB) who was advertised on there, and he was exactly as she said.

I got Lily from the website, I loaned her for a year before buying her, she was as described and I could give her what she needed.

I also advertise the Dartmoors from the Dartmoor Pony Training Centre on there (for permanent loan though not for sale!)
