I dug deep to buy one of these & want to love it but it's going on ebay. Just me?? 😔
Once worked in it goes up 3 holes on each side , so I wouldnt want a bigger one but getting it done up in the first instance is a total pain!! Horse does puff out a bit & im used to girths with elastic. There is literally no give at all in the prolite, i found its hard & pretty rigid and actually really slippy! The more i try to get it done up the more my saddle ends up slipping over to one side- this has never happened. Once riding I find my saddle feels as if it might slip & i find myself shoving weight down on one stirrup to straighten up. There is no doubt Im not straight myself, ive got hip problems but for some reason this girth is not helping stability at all. My saddle is as good a fit as it could be, m2m & recently checked. Ive swapped back to my lovely old, soft leather girth with elastic at both ends & bingo, no issues at all. Gutted, what a waste of money 😔
