After the thread yesterday am quite tempted to buy one. But not sure whether to get a wither pad or a front riser. My horse is very high withered and I am not in the place to buy her a made to measure saddle right now. Her current saddle does not touch her withers or spine in any place, but it is slightly lower than I want. She is quite undermuscled on her back, so I was wondering the the front riser would help her muscle out on her back more than the wither pad?

Any recommendations appreciated

Personally I would buy the one with the pockets at the front with the two different thickness pads. That way you can use it with no extra at the front, the thinner pads, thicker pads or both sets which should cover all eventualities.

yeah i would get the adjustable front rise, then you can altenate what thickness you want, or ride with it just as a normal pad.

they are great pads so whichever one you get im sure youll use and love.

yep i have the front riser pad, they come with 2 different thickness foam insertts, you can adjust using either insert or both according to need, my old boy is ten times better with his under saddle, def worth the extortionate amount of money
