prolite pads

i bought a pad for my saddle, under the saddlers recommendations as wilmas back is dropping so i can pad out the prolite pad when its needed

now the problem i have is the fact that it keeps slipping, especially when jumping, it moves backwards or forwards

what can i do?

Prolite also do a very thin pad that's made of a (neoprene?) sticky type of materal which stops the saddle slipping

thanks, its not the saddle thats actually moving its the pad that is moving

Talk to the saddler ... if it is who I think then he sells them to a lot of his customers and I think needs the feedback!

What numnah are you using with it? Ive never ad a problem with my prolite ant mines on a round Sec D

It would stop the pad slipping aswell, ie by sticking it to the saddle. I have one they are very thin so wouldn't affect the fit.

I haven't had problems with one moving about, I didn't get on with prolite pad as it made the points of the saddle too narrow.

the saddle fits really well, i just have to have this pad to help with her back dropping

i dont really know what else to do, i may try a different saddlepad
and then the sticky pad

the sticky pads are really sticky.

If you are handy with a needle and thread you could prob sew either some girth loops or a loops to go through your saddle d rings.

that might just be enough to keep it in place, I would try that first rather than by the sticky one.

I think I chucked out my sticky one as it had a chunk out of it otherwise you could have had it. will double check.

it might be the saddle pad making it slip, i dont hav enay problems with mine slipping and mines on a bog standard diamond stitched saddlecloth
