Propalin dose

Hi,

Has anyone successfully given their bitch MORE than the recommended 0.1ml/5kg of Propalin (3 times a day). For my dog (20kg) this was 0.4ml 3 times a day.

Propalin stopped working for my girlie at this dose/rate but when I switched to 0.15ml/5kg TWICE a day it helped dramatically. This was 0.6ml 2 times a day

Now we're having problems with leaking again and I'm not sure which way to go. I will be consulting my vet after the holidays but wondered if anyone else has successfully increased the RDA?

(Incurrin doesn't work her her btw)

I would have thought checking a urine sample would be good to rule out a UTI before increasing the dose, perhaps this may be a reason the propalin isnt working as before. Also you could enquire about ephedrine HCl, a drug we use to use for incontinence (think its still made although we dont stock it anymore) xxx
