Proper clipper recommendations

Now I have enough money to get some decent clippers that'll do the whole hog, not just legs. I'm not looking for one that'll do 6 horses a go....Just something that's reliable, and not too huge and expensive. So any ideas/brands much appreciated. Maximum £150.

If you can stretch a bit further to around £225ish I'd go for the Lister Liberty Popular pack. Made mincemeat (in a good way!) of my cob's hog this morning, and do a full clip easily without recharging the battery pack.
For "corded" ones I hear the Heiniger ones have a pretty good reputation, have a look at www.peasridge.co.uk, they have a huge list of clippers, their pros and cons, and recommendations.
 
Can't really stretch to 225.....150 is my absolute max...won't be doing any hogging, so it won't have to stand up to too much. Thanks for the website, will have a look on there.
 
I loved my Wolsey Swifts (corded) but they've been 'stolen'

Would recommend them highly, there were a couple of sets on ebay..
 
I got some lovely battery Oster Pro clippers on ebay. They are practically brand new came in the carry case too only thing is they don't have a spare battery pack, battery lasts about 30 mins but they are lovely clippers. I use them for hogging and legs but they could easily do a full clip. Paid about £140 for them but that included being stung for £35 import duty as they came from Jersey so watch out if you order from there or abroad!! Had plug in mains clippers before which were OK but means you have to have a plug point in an accessible place the cordless ones are great and you are not constantly having to think where the wire is or if the horse will stand on it. If you do get mains ones factor in the price of a circuit breaker as well for safety and you may need to get an extension lead too!!
 
i got a pair of liveryman mustangs (heavy duty!) for £150 on ebay so def worth a look (and they are worth £300+ new!)

i wouldnt really recommend any lighter weight ones id trya nd get medium/heavy weight ones on ebay
