after lurking on here for uh, 3/4 months and finally registering last week, iv been prodded in to making a proper introduction!!!
im sure a few of you will recognise me from the SU forum, as i recognise quite a few people/horses/names from there
anyhoo......im 25 (26 next month!!!!) and hail from Leicestershire, so may well have seen a few of the dressage peeps at vale view without knowing!
im affectionately known as the queen of bling, and almost everything i own is encrusted in diamonds, it is the rule of my yard that all horses and owners must match at all times, and white bandages are obligatory for hacking out
i spend most of my wages in classic dressage and have an entire flocks worth of dead sheep items in my tack room!!!!
the horse in my sig is the love of my life! Prophet's Star is a 4yo ex racer, by Daylami, who came off the track this time last year. I bought him in Jan 09 and this summer we have competed in the Badminton Young Dressage Horse classes (scoring a not too shabby 33 and 35 against some very smart warmbloods!)and then at novice BD, including the Patchetts Area festival. We are aiming for the Shearwater 5yo classes and elem in 2010.
He is the easiest boy to train, i dont really have to teach him anything, just ask correctly and he will do it! its like he's been here before, for a little TB he shows huge talent for piaffe etc so im hoping he will be my GP horse.
Perhaps more importantly he's given me back my lust for competing after my previous very tricky mare made life so difficult i nearly gave up altogether.
so, pleased to meet you all
