I thought there were some ridden ones, but they must be hiding on a camera somewhere. I'll dig them out :D. She actually has a bit of a tummy on her, the first time ever at this time of year! So I'm quietly chuffed. Have just changed her feed to just sugarbeet and Equijewel, see if she's tad less stress headed on that; she's not bad on the current, but I think there is still room for improvement :D

Please bear in mind that she is now in little work, due to my broken back and D1's exams. For those not in the know, this is what she looked like in April of 2009, after investigation for lameness ('bony irregularities on the pelvis' - I've just claimed Loss of Use on her :( :( :( )...

PaS - ta hun :D

J - it's been an interesting couple of years to be sure :D. One cracked arm, one bleed-on-the-brain, one broken back, umpteen lamenesses, two seperate trips to Newmarket to stay with the nice vets down there, various bits, three saddles, about twenty visits from the saddler and ditto the physio, reams of emails with various specialists.

TGM - yup, could have paid my entire salary to the feed merchants at one point! Thank heavens for Equijewel and Releave is all I can say :D

M - she is definitely feeling like a different lass, but is still the Dizzy one :D

MrsW - ta hunny :D

L - ta hun :D. Pics were taken about a week ago, just before the snows came :)

When I looked at the first pics I thought gosh she is looking good for this time of year and such a pretty thing. I then saw the before pics and thought OMG you have worked miracles. I wasnt aware of her history - she looks amazing! Well done you. :)

B2B - thank you :D. I need to sort out her mane, I think 'someone' has been nibbling on it! :D Growing her tail out as she has a thick mane, but thin tail, so it needs all the help it can get.

MM2 - thank you :D. She's so gorgeous, but can be a total stress head when stabled, but this year, since October, she's been able to live out 24/7 and she's much happier.

Thank you C :D. Looking at those pictures again.... me crying again! When I picked her up from Rossdales they didn't tell me that her bum had been shaved and there was no-one there to talk to - I burst into tears then!

Daft mare. She's so loving. Can be a tad argumentative(!), but once you've learnt how to handle her she's grand (on the whole lol).

She looks amazing MrsM. What a great job you've done with her.

I was actually thinking about asking you about equi jewel whilst I was at the yard so I'm glad you've posted.

I wondered how much you feed a day and how long a sack lasts. I was also going to ask if it makes them loopy?

I have a skinny malinky who is on C&C but I remember you singing the praises of this stuff before and I wondered if it might help. Have had a google but just wondered about it in practical terms!!

Wow:D:D What a transformation - I know how long and hard you have worked on this - she looks like a different horse. Maybe it is my imagination but she looks more relaxed/happier too. It took a while but worth waiting for:)

It's wonderful stuff :D. I haven't yet heard of a bad word against it :D

Expensive per bag, but I feed one of Saracen's cups per day - which is about two medium sized mugs worth. I have a feelkign that the bag says to feed more, but this works for Dizz (16.3hh DWB, six years old).

It works out cheaper than any other combination that I've tried (and that includes: Calm and Condition; Blue Chip Pro; Alpha A Oil; Baileys No. 4; Baileys Outshine; soaked oats; and gawd knows what else that I've forgotten!).

MT - I think she is happier :). It's hard as I can't ride her, so although I'm around, things are not as they normally are. I think (hope! because I'm like that lol), that she'll chill even more when things are back to normal :D

S - ta hun :D. She's a grand lass :D

DH - Yup, always preferred living out :). I have very little use for my lovely collection of stable rugs :o lol
