GTH, stags, symonds and samson are the ones I used and have seen Fox Grant doing some equine stuff down Yeovil way. Not much coming to the market just now and the auctions are probably finished. Prices have been quite sensible this year I think but bare land is making about ten thousand an acre. Keep an eye on Rightmove and Uk Land directory too.
my parents house is for sale. has a field that I use to keep my pony in. about one acre. on the devon/somerset border. I'll pm you the link when I'm on the pc and not my phone.
david james and as others have said stags, gth, prime location, woodlands (just land), fox grant.
I would think you are looking at 250k min for house with land in somerset - house would need gutting etc or if you want something already habitable then 350k - assuming you want min 3 acres. There is the old post office for sale in Loxton for sale and land owner opposite may sell you land - it wouldnt join but you would overlook it - house is still about 270 though I think (already done up) without land and land 10k per acre.
I think it may depend on how much land you want for that budget, friends have just moved peterborough way in order to get more for their budget with regards to house and land. Bearing in mind that land round me is a bit soggy so the more the better
I know of a house locally that has just been valued at 350 with about 4-5 acres and barn but the house needs work and hasn't gone on the market because they want more.
There is a lovely farmhouse for sale near us, only £950,000 with four acres
eek, we paid £645,000 for our house and its only got an acre, equestrian properties around here are sought after and pricey, GTH are good
Hi If you google Right move you can put in the area and price you are interested in and it will give you the properties on the market. Its a good tool.
