ive leased my pony out for 6 years now to some lovely people. never had any problems at all.

I have had a number of horses on loan but the only horse we have who was leased was an ex-eventer. I can afford to buy horses so I am happy t ride whatever I can get my hands on.
Pros: You don't have to buy a horse, you can give it back when you want, if it has major vet problems you don't have to pay everything.
Cons: The horse will never yours, always wondering what the owner is thinking, if the approve of you. May have to give the horse back at any time.
