Anybody used, or have experience of the protechmasta infrared poll guard? I've bought one, and looking at it, it's just a shaped piece of cloth, I can't see how it can influence the horses behaviour at all! For £25, I'm not impressed with what arrived, so before I try it or send it back, I'd like opinions.

I'm confused what you expected? you aren't going to see the ceramic fibres, the whole point is that they are just cloth?

I'm also slightly confused, it's not marketed as 'padding' and quite clearly isn't thick in online images.

I'm confused too. What where you expecting from it? It's cloth so its comfortable for the horse and I have the competition poll guard and it would defiantly not be for more padding, it is not thick and is discrete to fit under the bridle without bulking it up behind the ears.

Another who is confused as to what you were expecting. Did you read the marketing blurb before you ordered it? I believe it is similar to the Back on Track and Mr Feelwarm products in that it is the material it is made from which is supposed to give the benefits.

I have a BoT mesh rug and have definitely noticed a difference in my horse when he wears it.
