TB has been worrying me. She was standing back off her legs as if she was laminitic. But had the experts out and thankfully it's not.
What she's done is been galloping about on the hard ground in the fields and jarred her legs as well as bruising her soles and heels, hence the laminitic stance. So she's in on danolin and will be kept in the stable until she's fully sound.
But now I'm concerned that if we get another long dry spell and the ground hardens again, that the same thing could happen again. She is a little bit...of a playful tb and does occasionally just run for what seems to be sheer fun. I can't stop her; and she'd get stressed and worked up if I was to keep her in everytime the ground got a bit hard.
So does anyone have any suggestions on how to protect her?
