Protective dog harness....anyone know of a good one?

One of my springers is very accident prone and doesn't jump high enough over things. For the 2nd time this year he has ripped the skin open on his chest and is in for stitches again right now. I really need some protection over his chest area between his front legs but all the harness I've seen just have straps up and round which are not wide enough to cover the area.
I just wondered if anyone knew of a decent protective harness that has a full chest plate?

If i remember rightly i think some of the Halti harnesses have a full chest plate, but i could be wrong!!
