protective event boots for short wide legs (horse)

getting fed up trying to find something to fit. Am looking for short / wide event boots. ive tried New Equine, PE and some other cheaper makes, but the smalls are fine in length but dont do up in the leg. Mediums do up but are too long. Prob really worse on hinds as they seem to be massively long.

any suggestions greatly appreciated.

I'm also struggling to find boots to fit. I've tried some of the above plus WW and shires. They all seem really long.

I'm also having this issue with finding a pair of hinds. NEW equine fit him in front but the hinds are too long!! Someone must have the answer?!
