Hi all,
Any thoughts please on the above product.
I suspect my boy has had ulcers but after a year of feed management with Dengie Mollasses Free Hifi Light, Spillers Low Cal Balancer, ad-lib hay and plenty of turn out, he now only cribs and sucks very infrequently. I still find him touchy to be girthed and bolshy under saddle in upward transitions especially into canter. He does also get quite stressy and excitable in the stable if his stable mate goes out to be ridden, or he is just about to be turned out, even if there is plenty of hay, he box walks. We have just changed over to our winter fields and the grass is good so his poos have been runny to say the least over the last week. So I suspect he his having gas problems in the hing gut area. I have taken the decision to put him on a pro and pre biotic. I called Protexin and spoke to the "guy who knows" and he suggested starting him on the Gut Balancer. I have also decided to add a little Micronised Linseed to his feeds. So to this end would be grateful for any feed back from anyone with similar experiences.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
