Fabio has a tendency to bloat and get very gassy when first moved into a different paddock (we have ours split into 5 and rotate between them). I'm looking at giving him a supplement to help with this - have had suggestions to muzzle but i don't particularly want to do that as he's not overweight so i don't see that as really being necessary.

Has anyone used either Protexin Gut Balancer or the StableLabel Gas Ease? I know the Protexin is Probiotic/yeast and the StableLabel is charcoal. But can't decide which would be the most beneficial!!

Any help appreciated!

I'm afraid I would muzzle, too. I've never fed charcoal, so don't know how effective it is. I do know that both BY and live yeast are beneficial, but neither will overcome the sheer volume of rich grass being gobbled up. Mine are on BY all year round and whilst it helps them, it wasn't enough to simply feed that when I moved to a new paddock. I muzzled for a couple of weeks until the restricted area was grazed down, then weaned them off. Mine weren't overweight, either, but they still put on weight, even with muzzles on!
