Protocol at Show this weekend

I am attending a small show this weekend and wondered in light of the sad passing of the Queen whether I should wear a black armband? Does anyone know?

Surely nothing, unless the show itself suggests it? I find wearing stuff after someone has died is a bit pointless personally but each to their own!

With football, golf, the last night of the Proms and a host of other events cancelled this weekend, are they actually going ahead? Not sure I would If I were organising .....

Our RDA fundraiser is going ahead this evening, after taking advice from HQ. There will be a minute's silence and a short speech, in HMTQ's memory.

Not sure about other governing bodies but BS have released a statement saying that as people have already travelled for shows this weekend they will go ahead as planned unless they receive further guidance.

Not sure it’s what I would do but it’s the advice they have given

Racing was cancelled yesterday evening, today and tomorrow. It will go ahead on Sunday with all jockeys wearing black armbands all through until the day after the funeral.

A local show near me is having a one minute silence as a tribute. Sadly I think football have cancelled as the behaviour of some fans already at matches has made the prospect of jeering during the National Anthem likely and potential violence.
