Protuff Turnout Rugs (Also in CR)...

Hi there,

Has anyone bought/used a Protuff turnout rug? I am looking to buy their 450g Turnout Rug but I am always a bit wary when I cannot see it in the 'flesh' so to speak before buying.

Are they as good quality as premier equine/weatherbeeta rugs? Is the 450g true to weight (I want it to be a proper 450g weight if you know what I mean) and are the fitings good quality?

Any advice, recommendations, comments much appreciated.....Thanks in advance!

Great - thank you! Sorry to hound you but are the sizes okay too? as in were they the same as other makes of rugs? (I know it's difficult to say as they are all different in ways)

I would think if you have a wide/cobby sort, you may need the next size up - however I have two of their rugs. One that is an older version you would need next size up if cobby sort, however, the newer one I have (one of the blue/grey heavy turnouts) I bought the next size up for my horse, and the neck rug swamps him!
