So chuffed with the new Highland pony. He is everything I could wish for and more. Safe to hack obedient and forward going to school. Loaded like a dream today, first outing. Only had him eight weeks. Couldn't be more pleased. Will try and upload photo from today's lesson.

You both look really good in that photo. Having some lessons on him was a really good idea, give you both confidence and trust in eachother.

Shush !!! ....... don't go round telling everyone how brilliant highlands are, or they'll all want one ....... !!!!!

Lol ..... As the besotted owner of a yellow dun highland myself, all I can do is agree with you all the way. He looks lovely .... well done you.

I know Greylegs! What took me so long! He is polite forward going good to load hack feet etc. Such a good boy. Pics of yours please?

Another proud Highland owner here, I went from a wibble wobble try and get out of it rider to a confident fun loving rider. He's helped my confidence soar so much so I'm embarking on learning to jump (only got to the pole stage) this year I've done dressage, showing, pleasure rides and the Dartmoor Derby with him. He's a true gentleman and my pride and joy - so much so I think everyone should have a Highland.

Mine's a Mouse Dun and would add photos but have no idea how to.

They really are the best. Since getting my pony 3 years ago Ive ridden more, done a few shows and hacked out further and longer than I have ever done before...and Im in my 50s. Wish Id discovered them years ago, they are just so honest and biddable. Good luck PP with your chap, he looks lovely x

You both look so good together. What is his breeding? Did you know one of the Senior Instructors at Gleneagles had Highlands he rated them highly as dressage horses and did well with his own.

The hi ho highlands did brilliantly at team quest dressage this year. He is Quinten of Forglen. Dad Callum. Mum Dawn May. Beautiful trainable temperament. Such a poppet.
