Just looking through some old photos and came across a picture of myself and my arab - the first day she was EVER sat on and thought ahhhhh I was so proud that day and bless her she was sooooo well behaved!

Obviously in the second picture ... she found the whole process very boring!

I heard other riders who had beaten us, some of whom were in the top five complaining that their horses hadn't worked hard enough and that they were disappointed in their performances. Me? I couldn't be happy, my boy was calm and cool and tried his very hardest, the only thing that held us back was a rubbish rider

I'm also proud of how well he travels now, he's gone from sweating up whenever he gets in the trailer to happily driving to the airport and being loaded onto a plane! :o This is him after his flight, no sweat, no stress. So far from the boy I met 5 years ago!

another "dangerous" horse with a new life ;)

now so soft and responsive ....yet able to tell that matts shaky legs dont mean "go"

taking him to his school prom :D (only the third time he was on board)

This is so lovely, I'm getting in a project in the USA, taking steady kids ponies that have been outgrown (and often just left in a pasture for months on end, or passed to knowledgeless homes) to help out other kids. It gives ponies that would grow stale in a field something to do and the looks on the kids faces get me everytime :o

hi romax

thats a brill job for pones ..... we do horse agility with matt .......... and speaking of faces... its great those smiles :D :D :D :D

we are trying to raise funds for an adapted carriage so matt and others can drive as well. ;)

Lovely to see smiling faces, any achievement is worth shouting about in my books.:)

On a similar note to Tazzle, I love the freedom and sense of independece horses can give to those with disabilities.

Here is Charley and his wonderful Handler. She actually has a QH of her own with me here, but we thought Charley would be easier for her to do 4H with as he is so tiny and extremely biddable, she worked very hard practising for her classes with him and bathing him the day before was such fun. She was born blind by the way.
