Our lovely little GSD bitch has been doing us proud lately.
We rescued her in October (I think) after being locked in a back yard, kicked, barely fed and not socialised for all her 12 months and she was a bit of a wreck, never seen or heard anything before, got on quite well with our other bitch though after initial fear - don't think she'd ever seen a Goldie before!!
She was frightened of strangers - would put her hackles up and bark like a maniac and same with other dogs she just didn't seem to know how to behave.
We've been walking her round our village and trying to let her see that not everyone is a bad person....seems its been working!!
We had an alarm fitted today and the guy was here from 8am till 7pm she'd never seen him before and after 10 minutes she lay down and slept!!
may not seem much for a lot of people but I can't believe how chilled she was. She's grown a lot taller and her coat has improved so much - maybe because she's being fed properly!
Anyway her and Misty are best buds now but Roxy's taken to 'grooming' Misty - like nibbling her like a horse does, all down her back and neck and all over her legs - is this normal!!?
This WAS an 8 inch plait thing....now a 30 inch octopus!!!
