I've decided to clip Dylan this winter, he's 15 and has never been clipped before, but he grows the most RIDICULOUS woolly coat, and in anything more than light work he's a big sweaty mess lol. Problem is, he's quite suspicious of things he hasn't encountered before, and has never seen a set of clippers in his life!
I introduced him to my friend's clippers for the first time last week, he was snorting and backing off, but within 5 minutes he was letting me run them down his neck (switched on) and seemed perfectly calm about the whole thing. Tried him again this morning, and he was letting me run them all over him while I held the very end of the leadrope and he stood like a pro
Pointless, but I was very proud of the big eejit
