proud of my daughter......

my daughter is 12 and has been having lessons for 5 yrs though i would describe her as lacking confidence in her own abilities....

well she has been out of the saddle for 9 months now...

took her yesterday to a new yard for her first lesson in 9 months. She was extremely nervous and her stomach was turning butterflies. Don't leave me !she was saying and I could see her little hands shaking on the reins.

She had 1 hours private lesson. rode a 7 year old that bucked and reared with her...at the end of the lessson she said she really enjoyed it had a great time, like it when he played up and would ride him again.....

wow....I am proud as punch.... and can I be 12 again please!!! No fear!!

I know what it's like...i'd describe my daughter as a competent novice but she lacks confidence...hasn't stopped her though and she's doing well hacking my just backed youngster and generally having fun
