Me and Molly did our first ever dressage competition at the weekend. It was only a riding club one but we had great fun and came 3rd in our first class, doing Intro B and getting 63.04% and got 64.6% in our second class doing Prelim 12.:)
I don't think Molly had ever seen a rosette before, let alone have one on her bridle/headcollar, so she was a little frightened of it at first, bless!:D
It was totally baking hot, but I think that helped as Molly often has a problem with rushing everything, so the heat slowed her down a bit.
Sorry, no pics from the tests themselves, as Husband was too bored to watch! But here's some of us with our rosette afterwards (excuse my numpty red face, but it was boiling hot!)...

Thank you thank you!
I think she does know when she's being a good girl, but she knows how to be a pain in the ar$e too, like out hacking last night, when everything was so so frightening, as if she was some sort of 4 year old that had never been out before! Then when we met a man clearing out a ditch at the side of the bridlepath, well we we're off home the way we'd come pretty sharpish:D! Cue: lots of spinning around and generally being silly. Then the man climbed out of the ditch and I could almost hear her say "Oh, it's a man! Why didn't you just say and I'd have gone straight past immediately!?!" Blooming piggy horses!:p

Well done you! Marks in the 60's are pretty respectable, especially considering it was your first time out. And to get placed too! That's brilliant!

Well done you (and molly!)

Sounds like you had a great day and what brill marks! A well deserved rosette!

Please don't think me nosey but I just wondered which riding club it was and were they are based as with Howden scrapping any events for the summer we're looking for alternatives and i know your not far from us.

Well done again!
