Yesterday was a big one for J and his sharer. She came after work and rode him out on a hack alone for the first time :-D!!!

He is notoriously difficult anyway and incredibly nappy alone but she arrived very determined, hopped aboard and off they went. Returned an hour later very hot and tired (both of them) but a huge grin to accompany them, they did it!!!!! Yes he played up, yes she had to walk part of the way and yes it took longer than it should have but to heck with that - they did it!!

Just a silly gushy post, am so proud of them, what a great team they are making :-)

Love a good sharer. Had 2 brilliant sharers for my mare, they'd both happily hack her alone whereas I hated it and got nervous which would wind her up and she'd be edgy - worked for all of us that way - she got hacked alone and I didn't have to do it! And when I did, I was more confident as she'd been out alone regularly and wouldn't get as nervous.

I'm sure there are bad sharers out there, but the good ones are worth their weight in gold :)
