Despite all the hassles we are having with our car (long story) OH and family said I could go ahead and choose a dressage saddle for my birthday

so had the saddler out today, and I am thrilled to bits with what I think is a lovely saddle. It is a Barnsby APS dressage saddle:

It costs about £990 new (way out of my league), well the one he had was a demo which frankly looked as if no-one had ever sat in it or done a girth up and he sold it for me for a shade under £500. It fitted George a treat and I felt really secure and comfy in it so I'm a very happy bunny

Just hope OH doesn't say I've got to wait till my b'day at end of Oct to have it!

How exciting! Bet you're going to have loads of fun with it!
You didn't have John Rowe did you? He sold me my gorgeous Barnsby ex demo saddle for a great price, I have people trying to buy it off me all the time

I hope you have yours longer than I did. I loved my new saddle, and my horse went brilliantly in it but 9 weeks later the yard was robbed by a livery who had recently been chucked off, and that was the last I ever saw of it.
