Proud owner of my very first jumping saddle!

As above really, I am now the proud owner of my very own jumping saddle

! My friend was selling her second hand Albion K2 jump saddle as sadly her horse is no longer able to jump

. Although I will be the third owner and it is obviously a well used saddle, it is in good condition and she was selling it to me at a very generous price complete with sprenger stirrups

! So yesterday the saddler came out to check the saddle and the fit and I was very pleased when she said it fitted George a treat

. It needed a bit of reflocking along the front panels but that was all. So very excited, don’t suppose it will make me jump better, but I’m hoping it will give me a little more confidence as it makes me feel so much more secure, maybe just maybe I will spend less time on the floor

Yay.. good for you. I am also the proud owner of a jumping saddle and it is now "hiding" in the back of my car. Hopefully We shall get out and about this winter and get to see you and George in action
