Shall just clarify i wasn't riding Dolly as my badly worded title suggest lol ! Im back riding a friends TB after working out something that suits us both better. So instead of it being like a share i will ride in a joint lesson when my mum teaches a friend on her cob Cyril :)

So having not really jumped much apart from a teenie cross pole off the floor with Tess and not really jumped since riding school days :o We have started doing some jumping work and today i jumped a grid. Nothing big i know but i was proud of myself for doing it and for Indy the lovely TB for looking after me over the jumps :) Please no nasty crit i know what i need to improve on and my mum who is a qualified instructress reminds me off it ;)

Anywho here are a few pics from today:

Now for the not so good part :( Dolly has mites meaning Tess will have too ! So off went the feathers ( tess) pig oiled her legs and Mite shampoo is on the way. Feel bad for not realising sooner, but here are some pics of our little dolly dodar

Anyone want to guess what her sire may have been ? Attached is a photo of a shire foal ;)

Dolly (just typed Stolly haha) is stunning, shame the feathers had to come off but I'm sure they'll grow back in no time once all the mites have gone.

We chopped Tessy bears feathers off ( wouldn't dream of chopping Dollys ! ) and will remain off over summer i think :( She has stopped stamping and seems much happier. And thank you :D

I met a shire X traditional cob last week and what a handsome boy he was but he was about 17hh. If she is the same cross I am sure she will be a lovely horse.:)
