Got on my gelding today without a bucking/broncing tantrum. So pleased
Despite me being an absolute bag of nerves.

Also hacked down the road for the first time in over 2 years (only as I had a bad accident hacking and have been afraid to hack on roads/lanes since).
I just hope things get better from here and the broncing when being mounted is now a thing of the past and we can go forward from here

Even though I'm cheating putting brushing boots over his cheekpieces to act as blinkers so he can't see me getting on.

He's also getting so much better to girth up, just taking it nice and slow with him. He's such a doll to hack out aswell. I have everything crossed it stays like this because I have a smile up to both my ears!

People on my yard though I was absolutely bonkers for doing it!
Does the trick though, Although I'm investing in some sheepskin cheekpieces for him because I did get some funny looks hacking him out today
