As she can longer get on here during work lol, she asked me to post and see who was going on Sat and Sun. Think she is going to be there sat and competing on Sunday...I will be there to in the morning to cheer her on

Im going on Sunday, just competing my 5yr old in the PN

Could she take some pics of the course on sat and post on here sat night?!

Well its not really cheating is it asking for pics of the course!!

I can already see pics from the 06 course, and I could go and walk it sat but im going to spend sat cleaning my tack and shopping at the local saddlery!

Will she be on here sat night? Maybe she could come on and just give us a little update of how sat went and what the ground is like.

Ground is always hard there anyway.

I will be taking it easy Sunday I think. well anyone who goes fast is silly really, because if we have no rain b4 the weekend its going to be like concrete!!!

It has rained at Nurstead today but probably not enough to make a difference yet, it is on old turf so there is a good grass covering, plus the ground has been aerovated.

I'm a writer for the dressage judge on Saturday (Bridget Beresford Wright) and will be dressage stewarding on Sunday.

Where are you based?

Im in Essex, about 40mins from Nurstead and have had no rain!! Just having a few speckles of it now I can see from my window! But nothing to shout about!!
 
I will be there on Sunday -from 7am onwards-any pics would be helpful!!! Not able to get up there to walk the course day before, so will have to rush around before my dressage.
If anyone wants a glass of wine, come over and say hi-we always have a good supply! Pre competition nerves and post competition celebration (hopefully!)

Really?! Was pee'ing down on Upminster, when i left at 8am!! Really chucking down.....

hi,i will try and post something on here sat eve 2 let u know wat the course/ground is like(if i get time??)Ive heard its good going there,even wivout rain??a thick covering of old grass! good luck for sunday,IF u see me ,say hi if u like.I will be hanging around part of the day 2 watch friends jumping later on sunday! I may even take that offer up of a glass of vino???????(journeyman?) wud be welcome b4 i go xc!!!! 1 glass and im dipsy tipsy!.

Hi!

I will be there on saturday for the PN dressage (section G), then early times on sunday for jumping.

Will try and take some photos if i can mend my camera before then!!

Im hoping the course will be as it was last year??
 
Pootler - I'm doing dressage Saturday - please give me a good write up!!!

Was round at a friends house till 2am this morning - in West Kent. Terrific storm, thunder and great cracks of lightening - was especially worth watching as she has velux windows in her roof!! Rained heavily then, and my garden was drowned when I got up in the morning!

Smiled to myself when I thought of rain at Nurstead. Hope neighbours didn't notice, they already think I'm nuts!
 
I'm PN section K no: 456, so about sixth to go too.
Large black 17hh beast of a horse who I will be bouncing around on top off, gainfully trying to do a decent dressage test at 9am Sunday morning - our canter transitions are appalling, praying he won't spook at dressage markers, judge's car and sj's in general!
Slightly regretting taking him on for the season! He is serious hard work....
